Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. The name of her can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews by music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two notable covers that she has recorded. Katy Perry's praise for her song Runaway in a blog post brought the singer additional appreciation. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, and being captivated by the sounds it produced. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as an occupation or pastime but for growth. They inspired her to write. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork for being among her inspirations. Responding to her mother's suggestions that people shouldn't be trying to become famous with her songwriting, but instead be aware of the significance of them and their impact on society. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started making music when she was 9 years old. They didn't even have any idea until she was 14. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. She claims that she enjoys creating songs. For her, music is the best way to feel anything.
